“Teacher Team on Regional Geography Theory and Practice” led by Professor Liu Baoyuan being selected as one of the ”National Huang Danian-style Teacher Team in Institutions of Higher Learning” by the Ministry of Education

The " Teacher Team on Regional Geography Theory and Practice " led by Professor Liu Baoyuan from FGS was selected as one of the second batch of“National Huang Danian-style Teacher Team in Institutions of Higher Learning” by the Ministry of Education. Team members include Shi Peijun, Li Xiaoyan, Wang Jing'ai, Song Changqing, Chen Jin, Zhou Shangyi, Ge Yuejing, Zhang Keli, Su Yun, Zhou Tao, Miao Chiyuan, Pan Fenghua, Chen Bo, Li Yan and Yang Yang.

The "Regional Geography Theory and Practice Teaching Team" is built based on the national teaching team of "Regional Geography", China MOE Innovative Research Team of "Soil Hydrology and Soil Erosion" as well as China NSF innovation group of " Modeling and Simulation of Earth Surface Processes ". The team took "regional" research as the starting point, established innovative research contents featuring the superimposed effects of resources, environment and disasters in China's regions, constructed curriculums of regional geography, and had become one of the excellent teams for high-level research and education in geography at home and abroad.
