The second Integrated Scientific Research Expedition to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau successfully completed its 2022 expedition
From July to August, several research teams of the second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research mission successfully carried out the comprehensive research on the physical geography, ecological environment, human activities etc.
In 2017, China began its second scientific expedition to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to assess the tremendous changes of the past decades due to climate change and human activities.
Beijing Normal University (researchers mainly from Faculty of Geographical Science) was the only one university that undertook the missions of the Second Qinghai-Tibet Science Expedition and Research, along with research institutions in Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
The second scientific expedition to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau was launched to assess the tremendous changes of the past decades due to climate change and human activities.
