The first batch of teaching teams, scientific research teams as well as international cooperation teams set out for construction

In September, the first batch of teaching teams, scientific research teams as well as international cooperation teams successfully passed review and set out for construction.

As the discipline of Geography being selected as one of the second round of the national double first-class construction disciplines, the Faculty has stepped into her new development stage. In order to explore a new development pattern and further promote the construction of the discipline, boost education and teaching reform, enhance scientific research as well as strengthen international cooperation, the Faculty started the cultivation as well as the building of excellent cooperation teams in teaching, scientific research and international cooperation.

After three separate review seminars, the first batch of 12 teaching teams, 5 scientific research teams as well as 2 international cooperation teams were set up for construction. Each team will be built for a period of three years, and will be provided with special financial and institutional support.
